Heather Bramley

Heather Bramley

Riverton Elementary School

3rd Grade

I would like to nominate Heather Bramley for many reasons. As her husband I see how hard she works day in and day out, at home and at school, for her students. In these trying times and only Heather’s second year of teaching after running an in home daycare for 7 years she has stepped up to make sure every student is getting the best education they can. After 3 days in class this year and then the school going full remote she led her team to help create an online classroom within days. Heather personally reaches out to every student to make sure they are understanding and getting their work done. She takes the extra time to invest in one on one time for all her kids. This pandemic has hit everyone hard and everyone has been struggling to get through it in their own way. Heather comes home after full days at the school and works until 9 or 10 pm every night making sure all the kids are getting their work down while also fielding multiple questions from concerned parents. The way she has made every family and every student feel special and that she cares so deeply for each student she has makes my heart full and I know she does it because it makes her heart full too. I feel for her, and all teachers, everyday with what this year has brought on them. The way she balances life, our family, the families of 18 students, teaching, learning new programs, technologies, and teaching methods has blown me away. I always knew she was a strong woman, but how she has handled everything has proven that time and time again. I would appreciate your consideration for Heather Bramley for this award. Thank you for your time.
