Emily goes above and beyond to make sure her students not only have a wonderful learning experience, but also making sure they have a safe space to come learn everyday. She is the most selfless person I have ever met, and she is an amazing teacher. She takes time to get to know each one of her students and they feel comfortable coming to her when they need help. She is not just a role model for her students, she is a role model for me as well. Emily sees the good in everyone and is compassionate, giving, and understanding. She volunteers in the community and is active in campaigning as well as taking part in peaceful protests, standing up for what is right. Anyone that knows her knows that she puts her students success above anything else. Anyone that has the pleasure to call Emily a friend is truly blessed and has a friend for life. I am so honored to know Emily and call her a friend.
